28th June 2009 by Babies No Comments

Bath times can either be great fun or a real drag for both parents and children alike. You’d be surprised just how many children hate being washed so it is imperative that bath times are made to be enjoyable and stress free. There are some great bath toys that can supplement bathing perfectly and get everyone enjoying themselves,  here are the best 3.

Rubber duck. These toys should be given out as standard whenever people buy a bath. Its not too hard to see why it is consistently the best selling bath toy in shops. Having a animal in the bath is always great fun for children and especially one that can squirt water and bop up to the surface time and again. They will go down so well with children that they will soon want a whole family.

Squirters. If you don’t have a rubber duck that squirts water then you need to invest in a little water gun or similar. Its great fun for kids to be able to spurt water in the bath and they can do so without doing any damage or getting anything wet that shouldn’t be. Additionally it’s a very good way to get their whole body washed if they don’t like doing it the usually way. Just fill up the squirter and give them a good wash down with it.

Sticky numbers. Playing in the bath is one thing but its not the only option.  Kids learn best when they are relaxed and enjoying themselves  so it’s good to have plenty of learning toys or educational toys that can be used in the bath as well. There are a number of such toys that are suitable for water such as the box of shapes that teaches children how to select the right hole for individually shaped block. The best however are the sticky foam numbers.Friction, surface tension, material qualities and math are among the number of educational factors that this toy boasts.
