30th August 2010 by Babies No CommentsNeed to know the steps for removing Maxi Cosi Cabrio fix car seat cover? Thankfully today, a lot of babies’ car seats have removable covers to help you keep the car seat nice and clean and fresh. However, unfortunately the different manufacturers seem to have different ways of removing these covers and some seem to be easier than others. Before you get the hang of it, you may just wonder if the cover really is removable! If you don’t do it correctly it may take longer than it should and you could even damage the fabric or the fixings. You may even end up having to buy another cover! Here I will tell you the best steps to getting that cover off and on quickly and efficiently.
The correct sequence is as follows:
1. Remove the belt pads
2. Open the rim at the sun canopy as far as you can
3. Remove the cover from the 8 hooks
4. Following this, you will enable you to be able to remove the cover from under the hooks and the quick adjuster button
5. Pull the buckle tongue sections and adjustment strap through the openings
After carrying out the above steps for removing Maxi Cosi car seat cover, then wash according to the instructions.
Refit the cover by reversing the removal sequence above. Also make sure that the lower section of the cover flaps correctly over the upper section. When closing the rim, make sure the sun canopy is stored properly in the rim and fasten the adjustment strap under the shell again.
